When I was a child, people used to say admiringly, ‘This child will be a lawyer,’ because I gave logical and consistent answers to every question. I understood that in the eyes of the public, being a lawyer was a good thing, defending and seeking justice, standing up against injustice, and preventing the rights of the righteous from being violated. In the eyes of the people, a lawyer was a hero. He was the brave warrior who defeated the dragon and rescued the princess. He was the one who saved the innocent from the gallows.
